APPROACHING ADMISSIONS SEASON

11th Grade Spring

In the spring of junior year, students will hone their focus in on the applications themselves. Counseling sessions at this stage will center around identifying appropriate teacher recommenders, developing supplemental materials (such as Creative and Maker Portfolios) and identifying colleges to create a well-balanced school list. 

Golden Ticket Admissions will support students in finding their ‘perfect fit’ colleges by factoring in their unique backgrounds and preferences during the preliminary college search. As the decision of where to attend college is highly personal, students and families are encouraged to engage wholeheartedly in the college search process. Students will also engage in discussions around applying ‘Early Decision,’ ‘Early Action,’ or ‘Regular Decision,’ ultimately developing a game-plan for the submission timeline that aligns with their best interests.
